Scotch Old Collegians holds two League records for both the highest Finals score as well as the biggest winning Finals margin (199 points) with its A4 Second Semi Final 36-24 (240) to 6-5 (41) win against Wattle Park Teachers College in 1959. Scotch OC went on to win its first SAAFL Premiership the following week by beating Rosewater 13-22 (100) to 11-9 (75)

In 1976, Flinders Park were the A1 Premiers becoming the first SAAFL club to win Premierships in all Divisions from A1 to A6. This feat was later emulated by Walkerville in 1992. Broadview, Greenacres, Kenilworth and Rosewater have won Premierships in five of the first six Divisions.
