The Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club is seeking applications for the role of Coach of our Women’s team (the Queens) for 2025.
Our Football Club has 92 years of history in the SA Amateur League and is proud to have fielded a Women’s team since 2021. Our Queens team is a valued part of our Club and its culture – one that fosters mateship and enjoys itself as much off the field as on. Following the retirement of our inaugural coach we are now looking for a new coach, with a passion for the women’s game, who has the skills to take our young and enthusiastic squad to the next level in their football development.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with an understanding of the women’s game of AFL
- An ability to develop and motivate players of all skill levels and backgrounds
- An ability to implement and uphold clear standards and expectations of both individuals and the team, whilst promoting a positive, respectful, inclusive and fun team culture.
- A willingness to buy in to our Club culture and ethos
Appropriate remuneration will be discussed with candidates based on experience.
The role will report to our Football Manager and Club President and will be assisted
by a dedicated Team Manager.
