61 BEST AND FAIREST

61.1 A medal shall be awarded every year to the Best and Fairest player in every Division. 

61.2 Medal winners are determined by the Field Umpire(s) voting as described in Clause 31.4.

61.3 In the event of a tie by the highest vote winning players in a Division all tied players shall receive the same medal.

61.4 A player guilty of a Category “A” offence shall be ineligible to win a Best and Fairest award in the playing season in which such player was found guilty.

62.1 The League shall award a Certificate of Merit to persons who have made a significant contribution to their Member Club and/or to The League (Appendix 14)

62.2 Certificate Of Merit award nominations shall be submitted on the form prescribed by The League (Appendix 14)

62.3 A person shall only receive one (1) Certificate of Merit PLAYER LIFE MEMBERSHIP 63.1 To be awarded Player Life Membership of The League a player shall play 150 Senior matches in The League.

LEAGUE LIFE MEMBERSHIP

64 LEAGUE LIFE MEMBERSHIP

64.1 A Member Club may present to The League or The League may present to the General Committee a nomination for a person they regard has rendered conspicuous and/or distinguished service to The League to be elected a Life Member of The League.

64.2 The nominated person shall have given a minimum of fifteen (15) years significant contribution to The League and shall not have been a paid employee in any aspects of The League in such person’s fifteen (15) years.

64.3 The nomination of a person for Life Membership of The League by a Member Club shall be in writing and signed by the proposer and seconder.

64.4 The General Committee shall ratify a Life Member nomination by a two-thirds majority of Member Clubs.
