The Adelaide Footy League and its clubs must adhere to the AFL's 'Management of Sport-Related Concussion in Australian Football' published April 2024.

Covers areas such as harassment, discrimination and vilification, child protection and safety, gender identity and cyber-bullying, among other areas.

This policy is based on the “Pregnant Athlete and the Law Guidelines” produced by the Women and Sport Unit at the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and Sports Medicine Australia (SMA) and the AFL National Female Community Football Guidelines 2019.

This Policy outlines the AFL’s position in respect to the participation of transgender and non-binary people in community Australian Football competitions.
